Scope and consent
By accessing the iqtax.ch online platform or using the iqtax app (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Platform”), you (hereinafter “User”) agree to these Terms of Use. You expressly confirm your agreement to these terms upon registration. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Platform. iqtax AG, headquartered in Risch-Rotkreuz (Switzerland), is the operator of this Platform (hereinafter “iqtax,” “we,” or “us”). iqtax may amend these Terms of Use at any time. The version current at the time of access applies. Users should review the Terms regularly.
Purpose and use of the platform
The platform provides digital tools for entering, calculating, and editing tax returns and financial data. Once registered, users can enter and analyze their data via the web platform or mobile app and use it in conjunction with the available features.
This platform is intended solely for the independent entry of data, calculation, and preparation of tax documents. Legal, tax, or financial advice is not provided; such services are available only on a fee-for-service basis.
Permitted use
The platform may only be used in accordance with the purpose and applicable laws. Any abusive, manipulative or security-endangering use is prohibited.
The user is responsible for ensuring that his devices and systems meet the technical requirements (e.g. current software, Internet connection, virus protection).
He is required to take all security measures (e.g. secure passwords, two-factor authentication) and to ensure that third parties do not have unauthorised access.
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legality of the data entered and transmitted.
iqtax does not check these entries either in terms of content or law. Incorrect or incomplete information is the responsibility of the user.
In the event of violation of these conditions or misuse, access to the platform may be blocked or deleted at any time.
Data storage and security
All data collected from users is transmitted in encrypted form and to data centers located in Switzerland saved.
By default, tax returns are saved for a maximum of five years and then deleted. Users are responsible for saving or exporting their documents in good time. Statutory storage obligations are the sole responsibility of the user.
The user is obliged to keep passwords and access data secret and to inform iqtax immediately if there is a suspicion of misuse or security breach.
Use is also subject to the provisions of the iqtax privacy policy.
Review and filing of tax returns
Users are required to check their tax returns prepared via the platform for completeness and accuracy before submitting them.
iqtax assumes no responsibility for missed deadlines or incorrect transmissions to tax authorities.
Any technical delays or disruptions in data transmission via the Internet are the responsibility of the user.
Intellectual property
All content, software, designs, databases and trademarks on this platform are protected by copyright and trademark law.
All rights remain with iqtax AG or with correspondingly named rights holders.
Without written consent from iqtax, it is prohibited to copy, change, distribute or integrate content, structures or software elements of the platform into other systems in whole or in part. Automated reading (e.g. scraping, robots, crawling) is not allowed.
Availability and disclaimer
iqtax strives to ensure trouble-free operation of the platform, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Maintenance work, technical faults or failures by third parties (e.g. Internet providers, cloud services) can lead to temporary restrictions.
iqtax assumes no liability for direct or indirect damage caused by use, unavailability or incorrect transmission of data.
This also applies to damage as a result of viruses, cyber attacks or data loss, provided that iqtax has met its appropriate security and due diligence obligations.
The platform is used exclusively as a tool. The final assessment of tax data is carried out by the competent tax authorities. Liability for incorrect results or calculations is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Advertising and electronic communications
By using the platform free of charge, you agree that iqtax may use your email address to send you information and advertising about similar products or services, as permitted by law or if you have agreed to this.
E-mails and other electronic messages may be intercepted or modified. iqtax assumes no liability for this. Communication via email is at your own risk.
Links and external content
The platform may contain links or content from third parties. iqtax assumes no responsibility for their accuracy, timeliness or legality.
Access to linked websites is at the user's own risk.
Final provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms of use be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
Instead of the ineffective provision, a provision that comes closest to the economic purpose applies.
Supplementary or more specific conditions (e.g. for beta programs or expert access) may additionally regulate certain areas of the platform and have priority in the event of a conflict.
Swiss law applies exclusively to all disputes in connection with the use of the platform, excluding conflict of law rules. The place of jurisdiction is Risch-Rotkreuz (Zug).
